Well I am going to be leaving the country of Spain in about four to six hours. Right now I am in the train station waiting to board leaving from Madrid, Spain all the way to Lisboa (Lisbon), Portugal. In total it will be around a nine to ten hour ride. Luckily it is considered a night train which basically means I sleep on the train (I upgraded to have a bed) and when I arrive in Lisboa it will be morning there.
Just calcuatated mileage to see how far I have gone: once arriving in Lisboa tommorrow it will be about 1,917 miles. That does not include the walking around the various cities (sometimes lost, but the majority not). Speaking of many miles of traveling, my suitcase did not make it. Sure it was a used one that according to the person I borrowed it from it was already breaking. The wheels on the old suitcase by defintion probably aren't wheels anymore because they are not that round anymore. Ended up buying a new one that should make it through the rest of these rough roads and sidewalks in both Europe and Jordan.
I am in the process figuring out how to put pictures on the blog from the various places I have visited. It shouldn't be that hard but the blogs controls are based off the language from the country I am currently in (at least I can't figure out how to change them to English yet). Since they are in Spanish I have made some progess: I have at least been able to figure out how to put a slideshow on the blog, but those are not my pictures. I am not that good of a photographer. Now it is saying I need to create flickr or photobucket album in order to play in the slideshow. Hopefully will get that together shortly.
Well I am going to tomar mi equipaje de almacenamiento y comer antes de subir al tren. Voy a escribir en unos pocos días cuando tengo algo de tiempo. Adiós
glad having good time. definitely go to Barcelona and see Sagrada Familia. Ugly and beautiful at same time..great "church" that is still under construction. Enjoy some sangria and work on your tan... I know arizona residents never get those...
ReplyDeleteI agree Sagrada Familia was an interesting building. Construction was still going on and it doesn't look like they are going to be done anytime soon.
